A partial list of my favorite places to visit on the Web, so pay attention.

Pages: 1, 2

Friends:

EnTrance Images:  From whence my Web hosting comes. Great lady. Talk to her. Maybe she can help you out too!

The SplendidKathy!:  Maker of fine hand-knit novelty caps. Check 'em out!

Dragonscale Chainmail and Leatherworks:  Website of the lady who taught me how to weave European 4 in 1 chainmail. She does this for a living, so visit her site buy lots of stuff. NOW!

Pat Elrod:  Writer of vampire detective fiction. No joke! She also makes some damn fine cloaks and capes. Although I can certainly do it myself, I think I'm going to pay her to make my next Jedi robe for me. I really like her product.

Ghost Circles:  Contains the kick-ass artwork my friends Diana, Michael, and Susan (who seems to have vanished from the site at this writing). Also contains artwork of a fellow named Matt Holmberg who has worked in the game industry and has a style I can only aspire to. Go and see.

Dutch:  Another fantastic local artist. Visit his site. Click on the signs nailed to the tree and enjoy.

Hammerhead Armory:  Owned and operated by the man who taught me everything I know about forging metal. And I still have so much more to learn.

Still Point Aikido Center:  A wonderful Aikido dojo. Although, I've not been in a couple of years, I still consider Ross my Aikido Sensei.

Shorty Long:  The novelty jazz band that includes ukelele virtuoso "Pops" Bayless, who's taught me valuable lessons on Japanese swordsmanship. They put on a hell of a fun show.

Cinerina:  Website of my friend Karina who is an amateur movie reviewer. Whether you agree with her opinions or not, she delivers some well thought-out commentary on the films she reviews. Worth a look before you go to the theater.

Toons and Furry Art:

Radio Comix:  Purveyors of great "furry" and Japanese-style comics. One of the owners, Elin, is quite the little dish as well.

Eric Schwartz:  Furry cartoonist who takes the Warner Brothers "Chuck Jones" style of cartooning and runs with it. Great artwork and one of my (many) influences.

Max Blackrabbit:  Fantastic furry artist from Canada. I envy his sick, crazy, fly, mad skizzles.

The Velan Central Archives:  Huge huge repository of furry artwork. I'd recommend starting with "New: Grouped By Artist" unless you already know the names of the artists you like. (Some Adult Content!)

Science Fiction and Fantasy:

U.S.S. Ark Angel:  One of the local Star Trek fan clubs. Nice folk.

Star Trek: Hidden Frontier:  A fan-produced Trek series set just after the Dominion War. All bluescreen and costumes. It took a couple years for them to get their legs under them, but now, in their sixth season, they've hit their stride.

Starship Exeter:  Another fan-produced series. This one has sets and higher production values and is set in the Classic Trek years.

The Force.net:  Everything you've always wanted to know about Star Wars and Star Wars Fandom. Includes a section full of fan films. Some are crap. Some are absolutely spectacular. Go and see!

The Jedi Academy:  EZBoard forum exploring the ideas embodied in George Lucas' Jedi Knights. I've posted there in the past under the name "Marklar"

The Jedi Mythos:  EZBoard group that split off of the Jedi Academy due to... politics. It can be argued that many of the gentler, more philosophically-minded posters ended up here. Depends on who you ask, I suppose. Still, these people are thinkers and Seekers so it's worth a read.

The Force Academy:  Another look at the Jedi Way from a spiritual and intellectual perspective. Mostly lectures here. If you're gonna use a fictional metaphor as a jumping-off point for your spiritual journey, you could do worse than the Jedi.

The Lurker's Guide To Babylon 5:  Everything you've always wanted to know about the Greatest Science Fiction TV Show Ever. (not kidding)

The New Battlestar Galactica Homepage:  SciFi.com's home for what promises to turn into the second greatest science ficiton TV show ever. Site requires Flash, so beware.

Spacebattles.com:  Ever wonder what it would look like if a group of Starfleet ships duked it out with Imperial Star Destroyers? These geeks with 3D animation software and way too much free time will show you.
