Banned from Reno

Tune: Banned from Argo by Leslie Fish

When we pulled into Reno town because the Burn was done
Our crew set out to see if they could have a bit more fun
We had high expectations of their hospitality
But found too late it wasn't geared for Burners such as we

Chorus:
And we're Banned from Reno every one
Banned from Reno just for having a little fun
We had a jolly party there for just three days or four
But Reno doesn't want us anymore

Our Ranger's tastes are simple but his methods are complex
We found him with five partners having seven kinds of sex
The state police were on their way, we had no second chance
We scooped him up in the nick of time and the remnants of his pants

Chorus:

Our Lamplighter would yield to none at putting down the brew
She outdrank six U.S. Marines and a demolition crew
Or theme camp planner didn't win, but he outdrank almost all
And now they've got an RV parked on the roof of City hall

Chorus:

Our calm and cool Earth Guardian was drugged with something green
And dragged into an alley where he suffered things obscene
He sobered up the next day and he's none the worse for wear
Except he's somehow taught the neighbor's parrot how to swear

Chorus:

Our Greeter dissapeared awhile into a small head shop
Then gave our Guardian that drink of watery green slop
She came back with no panties and an oddly cheerful heart
And a painful way of walking with her feet a yard apart

Chorus:

Our media liason girl just won a camp-wide bet
By hacking into AOL's main news and info net
Now when Martha Stewart shows up on someone's computer screen
The flesh is there but the clothes she wears are nowhere to be seen

Chorus:

The Public Works guy loves his job, his private life is quiet
The Reno cops arrested him for inciting whores to riot
We bribed our buddy free and got him back to the hotel
Intact except for hickeys and a back that ached like hell

Chorus:

Our Recycler loves exotic drugs and politicians love them too
He took some down to city hall, we wondered what they'd do
Till the mayor called our hotel room and swore upon his life
That a gang of plants entwined his house and then seduced his wife

Chorus:

A gang of rednecks came in, and nobody seemed to care
They stomped into the nearest bar to announce that they were there
Half our camp was busy there, and invited them to play
But the rednecks only looked at us... then turned and ran away

Chorus:

Our camp is Black Rock's finest and our image is our pride
But when we play we tend to leave a trail a mile wide
We're sorry about the wreckage and the riots and the fuss
At least we're sure that city won't be quick forgetting us

Chorus:
